It is astonishing to me how many people are still reading Kay’s site. The current hosting arrangement expires next month. Best wishes to all who knew Kay, may she rest in peace. She is greatly missed.

Many thanks to everyone who entered!

Don’t forget that Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Names is now available everywhere. I still have some signed copies available too (for shipping to UK addresses only, sadly; its size makes it too expensive to post overseas).

Contact me directly if you want a copy: kmsheard@gmail.com. 🙂

Valentine’s Give-Away!

With Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Names now available everywhere (in the Northern Hemisphere, at least), I’m celebrating Valentine’s Day (and Mr Nook’s birthday) with a give-away of a signed copy.

To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment saying what name you like most from those I’ve mentioned at the Nook, either here or on the book’s facebook page (link in the column on the right — or just click here).

Bonus for liking Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Names on Facebook too :).

You can enter from anywhere in the world, but please bear in mind I CAN ONLY SHIP TO A UK ADDRESS as because the book is so heavy, the cost of international postage is prohibitively expensive!

The winner will be announced on Sunday.

Good luck!

I have just learned that Llewellyn’s Book of Names is now in stock at Llewellyn and ready to ship from their warehouse!

It can be ordered here.

It will still be a couple of weeks or so before it is ready to ship from other online booksellers in the US, and a bit longer still perhaps until it’s on the shops.

And those of us (including me!) outside North America still have a bit longer to wait…

But, fingers crossed, not that much longer now!

In the meantime, my article A Light in the Darkness: The Light Personal Names Shed on Ancient Paganism can be found in the current edition of the Llewellyn Journal, and can be read online by clicking here.
